CORP has two projects for the street children. One a day care and night shelter for the boys and the second a full time shelter home for the girls.

Community Outreach Programme (CORP) – MSCEN

At the Day care center programmes at Durgadevi, Grant road the attendance of children varies from 40-50. The services provided for the welfare of the children are: non-formal education which would enable them to write their names and learn math’s, medical checkup on regular basis, awareness on various health and general topics and providing of nutrition. Children are also trained in weaving, screen-printing and chalk making. They make floor dusters, door mat and shatranji. The shelter for these children is located at Reay Road and at the moment there are 23 children staying at the boy’s shelter. This year 183 new children came to the daycare center. About 9 children were repatriated, 20 children have been put up in formal schools, and 4 children were sent to Talegaon for vocational training.
